We specialize in customizing furniture, coordinating with existing pieces and reupholstering them when needed.

In our studio we have samples of sofas to sit in, to determine your exact style, size requirements and comfort levels. Suzanne Goodwin, A.S.I.D, has over 30 years of experience in the interior design and furniture/fabric industry, and will apply this knowledge and experience to advise the best approach to furnish your home.

Compared to most furniture stores who only carry stock fabric, Sofa Source has a vastly wider selection. This enables the designers at Sofa Source to apply appropriate fabrics according to your lifestyle: whether you have young children, pets, do a lot of entertaining, and so on.

The Sofa Source philosophy is based on the premise that everyone has a specific style, taste and lifestyle and the designer's job is not to have a specific look, but to bring out each individuals preferences, which in turn results in a satisfied customer long term.

As Suzanne puts it:

“I encourage my customers to have pictures of their space and measurements for our first meeting as I typically do a floor plan to optimize the function of the space. I have heard repeatedly over the years how people have bought furniture off the floor of a furniture store only to find it doesn’t fit the room size and scale or the function and/or seating requirements. Sometimes they buy a piece of furniture based solely on the fact it is on sale, but after living with it find it doesn’t work and end up selling it for a loss (or sadly it ends up in a land fill) and purchasing again sooner than they needed to. It’s about value and quality.”
